Cultivar Ogliarola like Coratina, is the tree par excellence for Puglia, they coexist together and are an integral part of the landscape. It is present on a large scale throughout the region and the one present in the area where this producer is located takes the name of “Ogliarola Barese”. However it is also very common that it is called “Paesana” or “Cima di Bitonto”.

This cultivar has been present in the area for centuries and it is not uncommon to find plants of considerable size exceeding 100 years.
